There are all sorts of them in stores, and especially on the internet, and there is a gadget for anyone, with any age and any occupation. There are many of them on the market, and no matter how expensive they are, there will always be someone who is willing to pay for them. An example would be the Luvalio’s First Luxury Notebook. We already know that most of the laptops have prices between 400 – 1,000 dollars, and there are some which are more expensive and can cost 2,000 dollars. But this one is much much more expensive than that, and it has an amazing price of 1,000,000 dollars. Yeah…one million! It comes with a 17 inch widescreen display, a 128 GB SSD hard drive and also a slot loading Blu-ray optical drive. So nothing interesting so far. But one of the reasons why this is such an expensive laptop is that the power button is actually a very rare colored diamond piece of jewelry.

This one acts as the power button, is great for design, but it is also a security identification feature. Not anyone can afford such a gadget, and even those who can afford it won’t be able to buy it. Well…not all of them. The producer will choose the clients for this product among persons that he already knows, and which were previous customers in which he has trust. They will be able to customize the laptop exactly as they want, and they can choose the materials, the finishes and also the accessories for this really expensive, high end gadget.

Another expensive, electronic gadget which is similar to a laptop would be the Teraflop SuperComputer for the Rich and Famous, which has a price of 27,220 dollars. It is an extreme computer for extreme performance at home or at the office. It has a PS3 Supercomputer cluster, theoretically capable of 1 Teraflop of performance power. It can also be used for playing complex video games, and it has 8 GB of RAM memory, two video cards – 2 x 1 GB Nvidia GeForce Graphics and a hard drive of 1.5 TB (that means 1,500 GB). The display screen is also an extreme one, and has a diagonal if 25 inch.

In case you prefer watching TV, and you have 70,000 dollars to spend, then you can choose the Panasonic 103 inch PDP widescreen TV. As the name says it has a huge 103 inch display, which offers a 16 bit widescreen progressive display featuring full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution, a contrast ratio of 5,000:1, and 4,096 equivalent steps of color gradation. Its resolution of 2 Mega Pixel can be compared in size to four Panasonic plasma displays of 50 inch. Thanks to the advanced technologies that it has it will reproduce crisp, film like motion images at 1920 x 1080 pixels. It also produces high contrast and rich deep blacks, and it has many other complex technologies that will offer you the best video quality.

So here were just some examples of some really expensive gadgets, but of course there are many more others. Toshiba Laptop Reviews

Published by netpractice, on Jul 19 2010, in the categories: Toshiba

These days you can see more and more people that are preferring to buy a new notebook (also known as laptop) instead of buying a new desktop computer. And we can definitely understand those people. Even though a laptop is a little more expensive than a PC, it is capable of doing the same tasks, only that it is much smaller, lighter and highly portable. You can use the PC just at your home or office, but you can use the laptop anywhere you want. You can take it with you while traveling and use it in the plane or in the hotel room, or you can take it in bed with you before going to sleep, or in the park, or at a picnic and so on.

Today there are many companies that are producing laptops , and some of the best names on the market are: Hewlett Packard, Acer, Asus, Dell, Toshiba, Sony, Lenovo, Fujitsu, MSI and Apple. Today we’ll focus on just one of these companies, and we’ll choose Toshiba. It is a huge multinational Japanese company that has the headquarters in Tokyo, and many more others subsidiaries all over the world. It was founded in 1939 by Hisashige Tanaka, Ichisuke Fujioka and Shoichi Miyoshi so it has quite a big experience and a good reputation. It offers to its customers all sorts of electronic devices, for example: computers, servers, notebooks, peripherals, digital products, electronic devices and components, social infrastructure and also home appliances. In 2009 Toshiba was the fifth largest producer of personal computers in the world and it had a revenue of more than 6,000 billions yens.

But for today we’ll focus just on the products that are interesting us – the laptops, and we’ll make a Toshiba laptop review. There are 5 different families of laptops in the offer of Toshiba, and these are: the Satellite, the Satellite Pro, Tecra, Qosmio, Portege and besides them a model of mini notebook. For today we’ll talk about a model of laptop from the Tecra family, and we’ll choose the Toshiba M10. The models from this series are offering a good performance with a thin and elegant design. They come with a display screen of 14.1 inch, which is combined with a good graphics engine – so this means that the video quality will be quite really good. This model is also compatible with a 12 cell  Lithium Ion battery pack, which will give you a much better life for the battery. So this means that you can take care of all your business and personal problems for a longer time, without needing to recharge the notebook. It also comes with a carrying case to make the transportation a little easier for you. Besides this it also has a integrated webcam and a microphone, meaning that you can always keep in touch with friends and family through a video conference.

There are three M 10 models, that are different from one another in terms of technical details. These models are: the M 10 – S 3454 (that costs 999 dollars), the M 10 – S 3451 (that has the same price) and the M 10 – S 3452 (that costs 1.249 dollars). So now let’s present the technical details for the most expensive of these models, which of course is also the best one.
-Processor – Intel ® Core ™ 2 Duo Processor P 8700
-operating system - Genuine Windows ® XP Professional (32 bit, SP3) with Recovery Media for Genuine Windows ® 7 Professional (this may depend on the store where you buy the laptop from)
- memory – 3 GB PC 2- 6400 DDR 2 800 MHz SD RAM
- Graphics engine – NVIDIA ®  Quadro ® NVS 150 M
- Hard drive – 320 GB HDD ( 7200 rpm)
-Optical drive - DVD-SuperMulti drive (+/-R double layer)
-  Other features –  Active Management Technology, Smart Card Reader,  Bluetooth®, USB Sleep-and-Charge,  eSATA USB Combo  Port, Fingerprint Reader

So here was just an example of a good notebook produced by Toshiba, but of course there are many more others. Even though most of the notebooks look the same, they are really different from one another in colors, but especially in technical details and features. So be careful before buying one and be sure to make a lot of research before choosing a model.
